›I do airport runs. Will the kilometres be a problem?
No. There is no weekly or annual kilometre cap on a Toybrids agreement, so airport shifts, freight runs and back-to-back rideshare days do not count against you. Drive it as hard as the work needs.
›I drive for Uber or DiDi. Does the car qualify?
Rideshare drivers are welcome, and each platform sets its own rules on vehicle age, size and inspections. Tell us which platform you drive for before you choose, and we will steer you to a car that meets its requirements.
›I am on a temporary visa working at the airport. Can I still apply?
Yes. Student, work and bridging visa holders can apply, as can anyone on a permanent residency pathway. A valid Australian driver’s licence and work rights are what matter.
›My credit file is thin because I moved here recently. Does that stop me?
No. Toybrids does not run a traditional bank credit check, so a short Australian credit history does not rule you out the way it does with a lender.
›Does a hybrid actually save money on airport work?

›Do I have to take a Toyota?
No. Toyota, Kia, Hyundai and Mitsubishi are all on the table, and if the car you want for airport or rideshare work is not on the lot we can order it in, provided it is 2021 or newer and between $28,000 and $50,000.
›What about insurance and registration?
Registration is built into your weekly payment. Insurance is organised when you collect the car, because the premium depends on your driving experience and claims history, and you are welcome to bring your own cover for us to match. We explain the options in our guide to insuring your car in Perth.
›When does the car actually become mine?
The car becomes yours once you complete all payments under your rent-to-own agreement. There is no balloon payment and no interest built into the weekly figure.
